Our Terms of service

Intending students have the choice to choose the DIY version (Do It Yourself) of our certificate courses or the non-DIY version.  The DIY option allows students to customize their learning schedule and duration of training while for non-DIY, you can customise your learning schedule but not duration of course and you must be punctual on every interactive class period.

FOR BOTH DIY AND NON-DIY STUDENTS
  1. Refund Policy
    Intending students are advised to be sure of the course the want to enrol for before making payment. Once payment is made, there is no refund.
     
    Privacy/Intellectual Right
    All videos, pictures and write-ups on Funmy Della Academy’s learning platform rightfully belongs to the school.
    Sharing/sale/distribution of the school course contents or any part of it is highly prohibited and anyone found guilty of doing so shall face due consequences of such offenses under the law of the federal republic of Nigeria. 
     
    Course Access
    If access to course content is lost by the student, the school can only help by giving access once. For a second time addition back to class, student will have to pay 50% of the current fee of that course to regain access. In the light of this, students are advised to keep their log in details and registered telegram number safe. 
     
    Lifetime access to course contents is only available on our Telegram site and not on the website. Website enrolment for full fashion programme is valid for one year, 2 months for other levels and 1month for single courses.
     
    Social Media

    The school owns the right to use students pictures on social media or be used for promotion. 

     FOR NON-DIY STUDENTS:
  1. This course is a certificate course and for this reason class attendance, class practical, and the final project are compulsory to be eligible for a certificate. Students will be added to each class level  simultaneously and not concurrently i.e you must complete a level before moving to the next.
  2. The class moves at the same speed. If in any case, student has drawback, the students will have to work faster to catch up with the current topic in class.
  3. If student misses class (not submitting assignments) for up to 2 weeks in a row or up to 3 weeks in 2 months, they’ll be considered as DIY student except in a case of health related issue and which a doctor’s report must be submitted and after which, the school decides what to be done.
  4. Certificate will only be issued upon submission of a satisfactory final project. The school has the right to not approve a project and ask the student to re-do it if the project is marked not satisfactory.
  5. If a student pulls out before the course is completed, they will have no right to replace themselves with another person neither will they be issued a refund.
  6. If for any reason a student has to pause academic activities, it has to be for a health related reason and which must be proven with doctor’s report.
  7. Students who are unable to go further with class activities after 1 or 2 weeks of resumption will be given opportunity to defer to the next batch  if they writes the school a formal request via email. Their reason for deferment must be deemed fit by the school authority else, their request will be dissaproved. If the fee of the new batch they are to join is higher than what they paid at the time of their registration, they will agree to top it up for their deferment to be approved.
  8. Student can only defer to the next batch following the one they signed up for and can only be done once. 2nd deferment attracts full payment of the course.
  9. For full fashion program, students are required to submit a project before they are moved to the next course level. This is to ensure that they understand everything taught in their current course level and are fit for the next course level.
  10. Students who are unable to present a satisfactory project for each course level will be required to present another one before they are moved to the next course level. 
  11. Student who paid on instalments must balance up at the stipulated time. Failure to do so will warrant withdrawal of such student from class until balance is made. If balance is made late, the student will be deferred to the next batch with additional fee of 15% of their current class level.
  12. Final projects must be submitted latest by 2weeks after completion of the course and latest by 2 months for full fashion program. If submission exceeds the stipulated period, certificate will be issued at a fee (10% of the course fee at the time of submission).
  13. 2 times instalment payment is allowed (flex plan). 70% initial deposit and 30% balance on or before class commences. 
  14. 3 times instalment payment is allowed (flex plan) but attracts extra N30,000. 50% initial deposit, 30% second deposit a month into the class and 20% final deposit latest by the 2nd month after the class commences. This is only applicable to the full fashion program.
  15. If you’re choosing the flex payment plan, you must pay into the provided company’s account only and after which you’ll write an email to us stating the payment plan you chosed with an attached proof of your initial deposit.
  16. For our single upgrade course, you have 2 weeks duration to complete each one you registered for. Within this period, you’re allowed to submit your practicals and ask questions. Once the 2 weeks duration is over, you’ll still have access to the course contents but may not be allowed to ask questions.
  17. By signing up, you agree to all the terms and conditions stated above.
 
FOR DIY STUDENTS:

1. As a DIY student you agree that you will not be eligible for certificate until you have submitted the required final project.

2. You agree that you will not be eligible to ask questions in class or be entitled to follow ups by the school as we do for non-DIY students.

3. You will not be mandated to submit class practicals like the non-DIY students. As a DIY student, you can submit your final project at anytime of your choice but not more than 12 months from the date of enrolment in order to be eligible for certificate. If a DIY student requests for their certificate after 12 months from the time of enrolment, it will be issued at a fee and after they must have submitted a stisfactory final project.

3. The requirement for final project applies to you as a DIY student.

4. You are permitted to have access to all the course levels  at once after payment.

5. Flex payment plan is not available for DIY students.

HOW OUR CLASSES OPERATE

1. Videos tutorial can either be accessed on the website or our Telegram channel.

2. Students are given access to the telegram channel  a week before the class and immediate access on the website after payment

3. Compulsory interactive session takes place every Friday evenings from 6pm to 9pm Nigerian time. Follow ups by Class guider takes place on every Wednesday and Thursday from 12pm to 3pm. This is the time when student submit their weekly assignment and get corrected one after the other. Students also get to ask questions and get answers that very day. 

Live interactive sessions also take place every Two Fridays. It’s not compulsory but very important.

4. Once the interactive session is over, students are meant to start studying ahead of the following week. 

5. Students have the opportunity to book a private session with the head tutor in case they miss a class in order to catch up with general class. Private session per 30minutes costs N25,000. Student will be given a date and time for the session and if they miss their session, payment is not refundable.

This session only covers for Questions and answers and not for fresh tutorials.
